Fine Light Entertainment is a boutique film studio that operates in North and South America. After over a decade in business, they needed a new brand identity and a new website design to propel the production company into a more dynamic market.

THE DETAILS
Fine Light is known for their white glove service and visually ambitious commercials. They came to me for a new brand and a website to boost sales and to better position themselves to a booming market in Latin America. I interviewed the owner to gain an understanding of the direction of where he’d like the company to go, as well as key aspects to focus on within the website.
THE CHALLENGES
REFLECTION: The identity and website should be a reflection of the company’s ambitious, bold style
SERVICES: The website should use engaging language that highlights what the studio’s services are and showcase work that drives conversions
MODERNITY: The identity needs to be modern and edgy with a cohesive visual language throughout

DESIGN CONCEPT
The branding for this production company was influenced by the role that light plays in film and photography. The wordmark was born from the idea of a sharp, chiaroscuro lighting hitting the name - emphasizing the dramatic, cinematic nature of the company. The signature color of the brand is a deep red, which is often used in film to catch the viewer's attention and carry emotion throughout the story.
