WILD DOG ROSE

OWNER + CREATIVE DIRECTION + BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN

Wild Dog Rose was a small tea boutique and cafe in Kentucky who offered loose-leaf teas, herbs, and natural wellness products. As the co-owner of this business, our goal was to create a brand identity that embodied our natural, home-grown vibe that could be used digitally as well as throughout our packaging.

THE DETAILS

Wild Dog Rose was a small boutique/café I opened with my best friend in Louisville, KY. Our mission was to bring healing to our corner of town through hand-selected loose-leaf teas, herbs, and other various natural wellness products. We strived to sell only high-quality, ethically sourced products as well as handcrafted goods. Our goal was to waste as little as possible and create as small of a footprint as possible. The branding of our boutique reflected that essence.

THE CHALLENGES

REDUCE WASTE: The packaging should be as sustainable as possible

VISUAL INTRIGUE: The style of the brand should reflect our values: handcrafted, natural, sustainable, beautiful

DESIGN CONCEPT

The branding for this company is minimal, black and white, and consists of a hand-drawn rose in the style of a linocut. This style reflected the company's values, as everything that was sold was handcrafted and/or organic. Additionally, all the packaging for teas was craft paper with a hand-stamped design for the tea information. This allowed us to be as eco-friendly as possible.
